Melissa Prince Quisenberry joined the MetaCyte team as vice president ICON in 2005 bringing much more than her two+ decades of experience. Melissa was a key player in building and training a MetaCyte team that works well together to identify, nurture and manage new health science companies.

Melissa lost her battle with cancer on April 14, 2008.

Melissa had over 20 years of experience founding and managing technology-based healthcare companies in the SF Bay area. She founded and served as CEO of Alere Medical, Inc., which was recently acquired by Inverness Medical Innovations and generated approximately $77 million in 2007 revenues.

Most recently, Melissa had served as interim CEO of AllTranz, LLC, a Lexington-based MetaCyte portfolio company developing innovative dermal delivery products.

Melissa's influence is prominent as the MetaCyte team continually strives to meet her standards of excellence, integrity and success.
