Gina Lankswert first joined the Louisville Medical Center Development Corporation team in 2002. Building on more than 15 years experience in the insurance and health care industries, Gina managed the accounting functions of both LMCDC and MetaCyte, prepared the annual operating budgets, and has been responsible for federal grant applications and administration.

Most recently, Gina was a key member of the team that prepared the successful Louisville Life and Health Sciences Project application for Tax Increment Financing from the Kentucky Revenue Department. The funding will allow LMCDC, UofL, MetaCyte and its partners to move ahead with the development of a 700,000+ square foot research park on the "Haymarket" properties in downtown Louisville.

In August 2007, Gina joined the MetaCyte team. Her role includes providing strategic financial management advice for MetaCyte and its portfolio companies. In addition, she is directly involved in advising/managing start-up companies and preparing them for financing.

Gina is a licensed CPA and holds a degree in accounting from Bellarmine University.
