Jessica Sharon joined MetaCyte as a Biomedical Advisor in September 2005. In this role, she facilitates the integration and translation of scientific innovations into a business strategy positioned for commercial success. Jessica is involved in creating business plans, strategic relationships and development plans that result in raising capital and eventually regulatory approval.

Jessica is the project director for MetaCyte portfolio company, Eyevation. She also serves on the management teams for several portfolio companies including Eyevation, Pradama, RhinoCyte, AllTranz and Gnarus Systems. While at MetaCyte, Jessica has helped to raise $5 Million to advance portfolio companies.

Jessica focused her graduate studies on tailoring biomaterials for drug delivery directly to bone and also has experience in tissue engineering, biomechanics and medical devices.

Jessica holds a BChE from the University of Dayton, an MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, and an MBA from the University of Louisville.

Jessica serves on the Board of Directors of Eyevation.
