Gina Lankswert joined the MetaCyte team in 2007. She is currently the project manager for Intrepid Bioinformatics, and serves on the management teams for Eyevation, Gnarus Systems and TrackFive Diagnostics, Inc..

Gina's role includes providing strategic financial management advice for MetaCyte and preparing portfolio companies for financing. She has helped raise more than $3.5M in financing for MetaCyte companies.

Gina was a key member of the team that prepared the successful Louisville Life and Health Sciences Project application for Tax Increment Financing from the Kentucky Revenue Department. The funding will allow LMCDC/Nucleus, UofL, MetaCyte and its partners to move ahead with the development of a 700,000+ square foot research park on the "Haymarket" properties in downtown Louisville, with the potential to generate more than $300M in economic impact.

Gina first joined the Louisville Medical Center Development Corporation team in 2002. Building on more than 15 years experience in the insurance and health care industries, Gina managed the accounting functions of both LMCDC and MetaCyte, prepared the annual operating budgets, and has been responsible for federal grant applications and administration.

Gina is a licensed CPA and holds a degree in accounting from Bellarmine University.
