BOARD OF DIRECTORS « back    Robert L. Shircliff Robert L. Shircliff is the President and CEO of Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s Healthcare. Shircliff was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1956, and received a Bachelor of Science in Commerce in 1977 and a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration from Washington University School of Medicine in 1979. In 1985, Bob joined Jewish Hospital as the Vice President of support services. He was promoted in 1988 to President and Chief Executive Officer of Jewish Hospital Shelbyville, Jewish Hospital HealthCare Services’ (JHHS). In 1991, Shircliff was promoted to JHHS Senior Vice President for the Regional Network; a regional health care delivery system including five acute care hospitals comprising 584 licensed beds, 2,300 employees, 280 active physicians and net revenue of over $240 million. Shircliff was named President and Chief Executive Officer of JHHS in June 2005. Shircliff has been instrumental in the community by serving on numerous boards and campaigns. He currently serves on the Bellarmine University Board of Trustees, the Leadership Kentucky Board of Directors and the Leadership Louisville Board of Directors. From the Mind to the Marketplace.
