Abby Hamilton joined the MetaCyte team as a co-op intern in August of 2009. In this role she provides research support for various companies and serves as a liaison between MetaCyte and the University of Louisville's Speed School of Engineering.

She is also learning from the MetaCyte team about various branches of the bio-medical industry, and how researchers and small companies translate their commercializable research into companies poised to enter the business world and succeed.

Abby is currently a junior in UofL's Speed School of Engineering pursuing a major in bio-medical engineering.
